What sort of Supervision is offered?

Supervision is offered by our ITTC clinicians who are experienced in the following areas of Psychology:

(Board of Australia (PsyBA) approved supervisors are available)

  • Intensive treatment of PTSD, C-PTSD, Adjustment Disorders and comorbid mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety and depression)

  • Intensive administration of combined evidence-based treatments such as Prolonged Imaginal Exposure and Enhanced version EMDR 2.0 (this is different to EMDR standard protocol level 2)

  • Differential diagnosis of trauma disorders and other client concerns

  • Managing and supporting intensive treatment programs for trauma

Fees

Individual Supervision
$230/hour + GST
Note: GST does not apply to provisional psychologists.

Group Supervision
$150 per person/hour + GST (2–5 participants)

Who is Supervision for?

Although widely used by psychologists, supervision at ITTC is available to any practitioner seeking clinical guidance including:

  • Registered Psychologists (Provisional, General, and Registrars)
  • Psychiatrists
  • Paediatricians and GPs
  • Counsellors and Social Workers
  • Child Safety Officers
  • Occupational Therapists

Professional Requirements

Health Professionals are often required by their regulating body (e.g., AHPRA) to engage in supervision/consultation to maintain their professional registration status. For example, AHPRA Fully Registered Psychologists are required to complete 10 hours of peer consultation annually as are AASW registered Social Workers.
